Returns & Renewals
How do I renew my items?
Click here for the Library Catalog. You will be prompted for your library card barcode (no spaces) and PIN. Your barcode is located on your library card. If you don’t remember your PIN, please call or visit the library and we can reset it for you. Click on “Items Out” to see a list all of the items on your record. Simply click the check box next to the item(s) you want to renew and then click “Renew Selected Items.” If an item is on hold for another patron, you will not be able to renew it. If you prefer, you can always call or visit the library and we’ll be happy to renew your items for you!
What is my account PIN?
Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your library account password. It can be any four numbers. If you’ve forgotten it, you can reset it online by clicking here, or visiting the library.
Where can I return my items?
You may return Tully items to any public library in Onondaga County, and you may also return any of the other Onondaga County libraries’ materials to Tully Free Library.
How do I request an item that’s checked out or belongs to another library?
From the record in the online catalog, click on “Place Hold.” If you’re not already logged in to your account, you’ll be asked to do so using your library card barcode and PIN. Select the library at which you’d like to pick up the item and click “Submit request.” If you’d like an item not owned by any library in Onondaga County, ask a staff person about placing an Interlibrary Loan Request (ILL).
You will be notified that your hold is ready by an automated phone, email or text message. You probably selected a preference when you signed up for your card, but we can can change it for you at any time.
