Reset your library account PIN

If you’ve forgotten your 4-digit library account PIN, you can reset it by following these instructions. Please note that this will only work if you have an email address in your library account. If you don’t, you’ll have to call or visit the library to reset your PIN.

  1. Click here to go to the email PIN webpage.

  2. Follow the instructions by typing in your library card barcode and clicking “Email PIN”

  3. An 8-digit PIN number will be sent to your email address. This is only a temporary PIN number and will need to be changed to a 4-digit PIN.

  4. Click on the Patron account URL link in the email or go back to My Account from onlib.org.

  5. Log in with your library card number and the new 8-digit PIN you were emailed.

  6. Click Change Logon. It is the last option under My Record.

  7. Check the Change PIN box. Enter the 8-digit PIN in the Old PIN box and a new 4-digit PIN in the New PIN boxes.

  8. Click the Save button and you are all set!

    You can now use your library card number and new PIN to access your account, borrow digital titles through Overdrive and Libby, or gain access to library databases.
